Shirolepa
Shirolepa is a unique treatment performed on the scalp, in which various herbs and medical powders are made into a paste and applied to the scalp. The scalp is then covered and tied with special kinds of leaves which interact well with the scalp.
Treatment begins with the patient comfortably seated. A relaxing oil massage is administered to the head using herbal medicated oil, promoting relaxation and enhancing blood circulation in the scalp. The practitioner then prepares a fresh herbal paste, customised to suit the individual’s specific needs based on a thorough assessment.
After the paste is carefully cooked with buttermilk, it is skillfully applied to the scalp in an appropriate thickness. The combination of the herbal paste and medicated oil creates a powerful therapeutic effect. Finally, a gentle head massage is given to complete the procedure, leaving the patient feeling rejuvenated and calm.
